01 / The problem
Furniture is hard to imagine from a product page.
Shopping for furniture online often comes with uncertainty. Product images and dimensions alone don’t help users understand how a piece will actually fit or look in their own space. Mobilia uses Augmented Reality to transform this uncertainty into confident purchasing decisions.

Solution
Designing an AR shopping experience that reduces purchase uncertainty by letting users preview furniture in their own space.
Evidence before pixels.
Research / Interviews + Survey
Scale is invisible online.
Users need to know a product will fit and suit their space before committing to a purchase.
Expensive choices create hesitation.
Seeing furniture in a real environment is more valuable than viewing static product images.
Confidence changes the decision.
A clean and intuitive experience helps users focus on decisions rather than navigation.
The room is part of the product.
The value of AR lies in reducing uncertainty, not in the technology itself.
User Interviews + Survey Findings
“I want to know how it will actually feel in my room before I buy it.”

Will it match my interior?
Will it fit my space?
Will it actually look good in my home?
From uncertainty to a clear design direction.
How might we…
Design a furniture shopping experience where AR becomes the primary decision-making tool rather than just an additional feature?

A system built for spatial confidence.
Typography, components, buttons, spacing and colors are presented here as a visual studio rather than a screenshot.
Design System · High Fidelity
A warm, low-friction interface for a human exchange.
A cohesive visual language transformed research insights into a polished, intuitive interface that feels warm, trustworthy, and effortless to use.
The learning: confidence is a feature.
Key Learnings
Designing for a physical purchase means designing for the uncertainty around it — not only for the transaction itself.
Reflection
The strongest product moments turn a question into a lived answer: “Will this work in my home?”
